How It Works:

Glow In The Dark products are a form of photo-luminescence, meaning they only glow when exposed to photons (lights). The pendant on this keychain is made out of resin with glowing pigment suspended in it- which makes it glow! Glowing pigment can be made of a variety of materials, but usually is made of either silver or copper-activated zinc sulfide or strontium aluminate doped with rare earth metals, non-toxic, non-radioactive compounds of common minerals. Due to their unique crystalline structure, these substances absorb the photons of light, and very slowly emit them, creating a glow that can last for hours.
